A lawsuit has been filed against the Boy Scouts of America, alleging sexual abuse, according to NBC DFW. Two former Boy Scouts from St. Paul, Minnesota are behind the lawsuit, which claims Scoutmasters abused both during their pre-teen and teen years. The men hope to force the organization to reveal its negligence and the alleged prevalence of the abuse to the public, and in the process protect future children. The two victims were able to come forward with their allegations due to the 2013 Minnesota Child Victims Act, which lifted the statute of limitations for lawsuits for three years.
