Following the death of Bobbi Christina Brown last month, a wrongful death count has been added to the lawsuit on her behalf against her boyfriend, according to the Huffington Post. Brown, the daughter of musicians Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died in hospice care on July 26, about six months after she was found unresponsive in her home’s bathtub. Nick Gordon, Brown’s boyfriend, is accused of giving Brown a toxic cocktail before holding her head underwater in January, which resulted in her falling into a coma, and eventually, causing her death. Gordon has not been charged in a criminal case, and an autopsy did not reveal Brown’s cause of death.
