Uber is admitting fault after one of their drivers allegedly assaulted a female passenger, according to FOX DFW. The driver, 56-year-old Talal Ali Chammout, picked up the victim the McKinney/Cedar Springs area in Dallas on July 29th and after dropping her off, followed her inside and attacked her. An Uber spokesperson said that Chammout used a fake license to apply and was not actually supposed to be a driver. Uber now plans to require an extra form of identification and will work with the city of Dallas to provide further safety precautions.
