Three people were killed after a small plane crashed in Plainview on Friday evening, according to NBC DFW. Three passengers were onboard the single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza as it headed to San Antonio at about 9:15 p.m. The plane had just left the Hale County Airport, which is near Lubbock, when the accident occurred. After the crash, a subsequent fire destroyed the plane. The names of the three people killed have not been released. The FAA stated that the National Transportation Safety Board will conduct the investigation and the investigators have been notified of the accident.
