A former Houston radio talk show host was injured after his plane suffered engine trouble, according to NBC DFW. 63-year-old Edd Campbell Hendee and two passengers were travelling to Houston in a private plane from Angelina County Airport in Lufkin, outside of Nacogdoches, on Friday morning when mechanical issues forced it to make an emergency landing on an East Texas Road. The twin-engine plane landed in a grassy area beside U.S. 59 near the city of Diboll. Hendee and the two passengers received minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for evaluation.
