A class action lawsuit has been filed against a Hollywood hairstylist after consumers allege his products cause hair loss, according to USA Today. The WEN products were developed by Chaz Dean and endorsed by celebrities like Brooke Shields, Alyssa Milano, and Angie Harmon. Six consumers, however, claim they had clumps of hair come out after using a WEN conditioner; one woman claims to have lost about 1/3 of her hair. The women have filed a lawsuit against Dean and the marketing firm, Guthy-Renker, who sells the products. Both Dean and Guthy-Renker have faced other lawsuits in the past by consumers who allege their products damaged their hair and questionable business practices.
