One person was killed and two others were injured after a gas line exploded last week in Central California, according to NBC DFW. The ruptured Pacific Gas and Electric Co. line was about 12 feet underground and being worked on at the time, and resulted in a fire that also destroyed a nearby home. Two people inside the home were injured. A child was also in the home during the accident, but was not injured. The operator working on the line died from his injuries, but was not a PG&E employee. The fire was quickly put out, and no others were injured.
