A Louisiana family is alleging their house was destroyed after their new hoverboard exploded, according to Buzzfeed News. Jessica Horne bought the toy for her 12-year-old son from Fitburo, purchased through Amazon. Her son began to ride it through their home, and soon it needed to be charged. Horne says that within minutes, the room was engulfed in flames. Firefighters arrived shortly after and were able to save the family’s dog. Horne posted the horrific photos to social media, and says she plans to sue the manufacturer. A GoFundMe page has also been started to help the family.
