Five women have been awarded $17 million after their former boss allegedly raped and sexually harassed them, according to the Huffington Post. The women, migrant workers from Mexico, worked for Moreno Farms in Felda, Florida and claim the owner and his brother sexually abused them. They also allege the men fired them for resisting their advances, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit against the company in 2014. The Moreno men closed their plant during the investigation, and on Thursday, the women were awarded $2.425 million in compensatory damages and $15 million in punitive damages.
