A freak accident in Washington state killed a young couple and their infant last week, according to the Huffington Post. Josh and Vanessa Ellis, youth ministers, and their 6-month-old baby, Hudson, were driving in a pickup truck last Monday when a concrete slab fell from a highway overpass onto their vehicle. The accident occurred about 30 miles southeast of Seattle on an overpass on State Route 410. Crews were installing a sidewalk as part of a $1.8 million renovation on the north side of the bridge. It’s not yet known was caused the concrete to fall onto the Ellis’ vehicle, but the Department of Transportation, Bonney Lake Police, and the contractors associated with the project are investigating the accident.
