AP News has reported that four contract workers were injured in a gas plant fire in Corpus Christi. The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon after the workers attempted to change a component that filters the gas stream, and is still under investigation. Two of the victims were taken from the Enterprise plant to a Corpus Christi hospital while the other two workers were airlifted to San Antonio Military Medical Center; their conditions have not been released. The workers are employees of The Woodlands energy services company, Strike.
