Three women are dead after a hit-and-run in Dallas on Friday evening. According to WFAA News, 26-year-old Araceli Romero was driving the car carrying her mother, 45-year-old Regina Romero, and sister, 28-year-old Judith Romero, and a 2-year-old male relative when the accident happened. Romero’s car was turning left at the North Prairie and Dunlap Drive intersection when it was struck by a southbound vehicle. Witnesses reported that the car was going 80 miles an hour when it hit and killed the Romero family. Bystanders were able to pull the child out of the crashed car and he was taken to Children’s Medical Center. While the Romero family mourns this tragedy, the hit-and-run driver has yet to be identified.
