Very cold weather and icy roads have made another appearance in Dallas-Fort Worth this weekend, closing down many major school districts and creating problems on the roads. The Dallas Morning News is reporting that this has been the coldest day this winter, which makes it no surprise that hundreds of accidents have occurred. Dallas police have reported responding to 150 minor wrecks and 99 injury wrecks on Sunday. Other problem areas include Interstate 45 near Corsicana, where ice has caused a backup that is possibly 34 miles long. While the sun and warmer weather tomorrow melts the ice, remember to be cautious if you must drive, and watch out for other drivers.
