North Texas is facing a second winter storm this week, with schools and roads closing down all over the metroplex, according to NBC DFW. A massive 40-car pileup was originally reported in Collin County, but officials have confirmed the incident actually involved 15 cars and two tractor-trailers that slipped off a portion of Highway 121 in Melissa in separate collisions. Two injuries are being reported as a result, and the southbound lanes are currently closed due to the dangerous conditions. Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution as the snow, which began falling at about 8 am on Friday, continues to fall.
