Four passengers are dead after two separate Texas aviation accidents in the past few weeks. The first accident occurred in Amarillo; the plane carried three passengers, all of whom were killed. The accident is still being investigated, though weather may have the cause, as there was a heavy fog last Monday when the plane crashed, according to WFAA News. A second airplane crashed yesterday evening in Harris County, leaving one passenger dead and another injured. WFAA News reported that the injured passenger was taken to a local hospital after first responders were able to get close to the wreckage; they were not able to immediately retrieve the victims due to the fire that engulfed the aircraft. The airplane reportedly crashed into a hanger at Hooks Airport; the cause of the accident, however, has not been made known yet.
