A woman claiming to have been seriously injured during a dog fight has dropped her lawsuit against her neighbors, according to NBC DFW. The woman, Emerald White, of Texas City, was seeking $1 million in damages after her four pit bulls escaped in October in an attempt to reach the beagle belonging to White’s neighbors, Steve and Tiffany Baker. White claims to have been seriously hurt while trying to break up the fight. The Bakers, however, sought legal sanctions against White, alleging that her pit bulls are dangerous animals, and city ordinances require a sign posting for such animals. Both parties dropped those actions as part of the settlement reached this week.
