A teenager visiting from Mexico was killed in Lewisville on Sunday morning as he tried to help victims of a car crash, according to NBC DFW. The four-vehicle accident began early Sunday morning after a crash caused an SUV to roll over, and two vehicles stopped to help. A fourth vehicle then hit both cars and a pedestrian, 18-year-old Luis Mario Aleman-Mendoza. Aleman-Mendoza was then transported to a nearby hospital, where he died. A passenger in the original accident was also taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Police say alcohol may have been a factor in both accidents, but at this time, only the driver in the original crash has been charged with intoxication assault with serious bodily injury.
