A San Antonio man died two hours after a confrontation with police last week, resulting in two police officers being placed on administrative duty, according to NBC DFW. 25-year-old Jose Franco was suspected of committing fraud or theft at a store and fleeing, when an officer attempted to subdue him using a stun gun and pepper spray. He also hit Franco with a baton before a second officer came to help him. Franco was then transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for an elevated heart rate. He died two hours later. The San Antonio police department is now investigating the incident.
