A stranded driver was killed after being knocked into Lewisville Lake on Tuesday night, according to the Dallas Morning News. 64-year-old Denton man, Gholamreza Sabzghabaei, was phoning for help on I35 over the lake bridge at about 8:40 p.m. when the accident occurred. Sabzghabaei’s Nissan was parked partially in a lane when a vehicle pushed him into the water. Bystanders attempted to retrieve Sabzghabaei and perform CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition. An investigation into the accident is underway.
