Seven students were injured in a Crandall ISD bus crash last Thursday morning, according to NBC DFW. The bus was carrying 28 people, including the bus driver and 27 students, at the time of the accident. They were heading to Tarleton State University for a tour when they were hit at about 10:30 a.m. in Palo Pinto County by 70-year-old Charles R. Gill of Denton. Gill told police he fell asleep at the wheel, and he was also cited for speeding. Seven students sustained minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
