A semi truck and firetruck collided early Sunday morning, killing one and injuring three others, according to the Dallas Morning News. The accident occurred at about 3:15 a.m. in Irving as the firetruck was stopped to assist a single-vehicle car accident, blocking an eastbound lane on State Highway 183. The driver of the semi crashed into the firetruck, causing the firetruck to roll one time. The driver of the semi was killed, and three firefighters were injured. They were all transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A second driver, whom was later arrested for intoxicated driving, then crashed into the scene of the accident and hit a police car. No one was injured in the incident.
