A school bus hit and killed a young child last week in Universal City, without ever even noticing the accident, according to KHOU News. The 6-year-old girl is believed to have been running late and was attempting to catch the bus when she was struck; a relative with her tried to flag down passing drivers, but was unsuccessful, and took her back to her home, where she died of the injuries she sustained. The bus driver, with the Judson Independent School District, continued on her route, and had already gone home for the day when she was told what had happened. Investigators are now trying to determine how the accident occurred, using video surveillance from the bus.
