A Chicago restaurant is being investigated after a large party believe their children were served alcohol on Tuesday evening. The group, consisting of six adults and thirteen children, was celebrating a birthday at Home Run Inn in Little Village when the incident occurred, according to MyFOX DFW. The children ordered fruit punch, but one of the children complained that her drink tasted strange, and when her parents sniffed and tasted it, they believed alcohol to be in the drink. The police were called, and all of the children claimed to have taken drinks from the same cup. They were all taken to a local hospital, but doctors were not able to find alcohol in their systems. Now, the Liquor Control Commission will conduct an investigation in order to determine if the incident was an accident or if the resturant is at fault.
