The driver accused of running down festival attendees at last year’s South by Southwest festival has been found guilty, according to NBC DFW. 23-year-old Rashad Owens fled after being stopped by a police officer and then gunned through a crowd of people at an estimated 55 mph, resulting in the deaths of four people and numerous other injuries. The prosecutor in the case argued that Owens was aware of his actions, but didn’t care what injuries or deaths he might have caused. Owen faces life in prison in the case.
