Rafael Robb, a former University of Pennsylvania economics professor who confessed to killing his wife, has been ordered by a jury to pay over $124 million to his daughter, according to NBC News. Robb is serving 5-10 years for the 2006 beating and murder of his wife, and the civil case against him marks the first time since then that he has faced his 20-year-old daughter, Olivia Robb. Olivia testified that she feels as though she has lost both parents, and often thinks of the moments she should have shared with her mother. The enormous settlement is believed to be largest contested personal injury verdict in the state’s history.
