In response to Paul Walker’s wrongful death lawsuit, Porsche has claimed that the late actor is to blame for his 2013 death, according to the Huffington Post. Meadow Walker alleged that the 2005 Porsche her father was riding in at the time of his death lacked safety features, which the company has denied. An investigation concluded that excessive speed was to blame for the accident, but Meadow Walker’s lawsuit instead claims the vehicle was only going between 45-55 mph and her father survived the crash but was unable to escape from the vehicle due to his injuries. Walker’s attorney has also said that Porsche’s claims are essentially “blaming the victim.”
