The daughter of Paul Walker has filed a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of her late father against Porsche, according to Refinery 29. 16-year-old Meadow Walker’s lawsuit alleges that a malfunction in the vehicle her father was riding in at the time of his death in 2013, which leaves the car manufacturer responsible for the crash. The lawsuit claims that Walker survived the initial crash of the Porsche, which killed another man, but his injuries left him unable to escape from the vehicle, and burned to death as a result. Additionally, the lawsuit says that a Porsche Stability Management System may have prevented the accident, and calls into question the car’s door reinforcements and fuel lines.
