A police report has been filed and a Child Protective Services case opened against the principal of Dallas’ Bryan Adam High School, Richard Kasl, after a mother accused him of yanking her son’s earring out in the school’s hallway. The male student was wearing gauges in his ears at the time of the incident, according to FOX DFW, which is against the school’s dress code. However, several teachers and parents reported to the news source that the dress code has not been enforced throughout this school year. Despite the allegations, the school district has not placed Kasl on administrative leave and claimed that the student was not harmed; although the student’s mother claimed her son’s ear began to swell up as a result of the incident.
