An underpass in Cincinnati collapsed on Monday evening, killing one and injuring another, according to the Huffington Post. The accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday on the southbound side of interstate 75 near Hopple Street, just north of downtown. The overpass was undergoing demolition, and the man killed was a construction worker taking down the bridge. A tractor-trailer driver struck the bridge as it was going down; he was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. The accident has shut down the overpass for the time being.
