Seven people were injured last week when a school bus tipped over in Henderson County, according to NBC DFW. The accident occurred last Thursday at about 7:20 a.m. as the Malakoff Independent School District bus was driving on Farm-to-Market 274 near Trinidad. The bus driver lost control on a narrow shoulder, and the bus, which was carrying middle and high-school students at the time, tipped over. Seven people, including the driver, were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Some of the students onboard were taken home by their parents, and the rest went on to their schools. DPS and the district officials will investigate the accident, but early signs point to the bus driver driving too close to the edge of the road.
