Two major accidents near Texarkana killed three people and injured seven more on Monday evening, according to the Dallas Morning News. The first accident occurred just before midnight on Interstate 49 near the town of Fouke and involved a semi-truck that was rear-ended. Ten vehicles then also became involved. Soon after, three semi-trucks also collided on the northbound lanes of the highway. Three people were killed in the accidents, and seven more were injured and taken to nearby hospitals. Police said a few more people were injured in the crashes but refused medical care.
