A corrections officer remains hospitalized after a prison bus crashed last week, according to NBC DFW. The Jan. 14th accident killed two prison guards and eight prisoners after crashing on icy Interstate 20. Four prisoners and Guard Jason Self survived the collision; the injured prisoners were treated at an Odessa hospital, while Self was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock. Self remains in critical condition, while three of the inmates have been released from the hospital. The fourth inmate was expected to be released on Wednesday.
