A head-on collision in Sanger killed one person, and injured three others, on Monday afternoon, according to NBC News. The accident occurred on FM 455 after a Hyundai Accent crossed over into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mitsubishi SUV. The driver of the Hyundai was killed, and two children riding in the vehicle were injured. One of the children was airlifted to Cook’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, and the other was transported in Denton Regional Medical Center. The driver of the Mitsubishi was trapped inside the vehicle and was extracted by Sanger firefighters. The driver was then taken to Medical Center of Plano in serious condition by air ambulance. The crash is under investigation in hopes of determining what caused the Hyundai’s driver to cross lanes.
