Several passengers and a crewmember were injured on an American Airlines flight on Tuesday due to extreme turbulence, according to FOX DFW. The flight, which was headed for Dallas-Fort Worth international airport, departed from Seoul, South Korea, but had to stop in Tokyo after 14 people requested medical attention for injuries acquired during the turbulence. The flight was carrying 240 passengers and 15 crewmembers, who stayed in Japan overnight, at the time of the incident. The turbulence was estimated to have lasted about an hour and was likely the result of a winter storm in Japan.
