A head-on collision on Friday morning in Greenville has left four people and a dog dead, according to the Dallas Morning News. The accident occurred on Interstate 30 at about 2 a.m. as a man driving east on a westbound lane collided with another vehicle. That vehicle, an SUV, was carrying five teens that were driving from Alabama to Austin. An 18-wheeler was unable to stop in time and became involved in the accident, causing the SUV to catch fire. The 18-wheeler’s driver was not injured. Three of the teens from the SUV were killed on impact, and the other two were transported to a hospital for treatment. The man in the original vehicle and his dog were also killed in the accident.
