A 14-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after being hit by a deputy constable last Friday. The accident occurred early Friday morning as the girl was biking to Seven Lakes High School in Fort Bend County, according to WFAA News. A doctor at the scene was able to help the girl before she was air-lifted to a hospital. Deputies said the girl entered the intersection on a red light on Gaston Road and S. Fry Road, while the constable had the right of way, but Texas Department of Public Safety will investigate the incident. The girl was reported to have serious head injuries, but is in stable condition.
