Six Flags Over Texas has joined the family of the woman killed while riding the Texas Giant last summer, in suing the maker of the roller coaster, Gerstlauer Amusement Rides. Rosa Esparza’s family is also suing Six Flags for the accident, though they have denied responsibility, according to WFAA News. A lawyer representing Gerstlauer claims that Six Flags never made any objections to the ride after it was built and delivered per their instructions, and the cause of tragic accident was a failure in following operating procedures.
