A retired firefighter and friend of Stanley Wilson, a firefighter killed on duty last year, is alleging that Dallas commanders didn’t follow safety protocols on the day Wilson died. According to WFAA News, the roof of Hearthwood Condominiums fell on top of Wilson and four other firefighters after they were ordered back inside the burning building. James Crump, in addition to claiming that Wilson’s death was caused by the mistakes made by the commanders, believes that Wilson’s death is being covered up. Officials claim the investigation is ongoing, and will not release any recordings or documents related to the incident while it continues.
