Social media may help locate a hit-and-run driver involved in a McKinney accident on Thursday evening, according to NBC DFW. Alisha Stevens was sitting at a red light at Virginia Street and Highway 5 with two children, ages 9 and 10, when a driver slammed into her vehicle and then took off. Her nine-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital, but has since been released. Stevens now hopes sharing her story on Facebook will lead to information on the driver and his or her vehicle, which Stevens believes was an older grey Honda Accord. She also believes the driver was a man wearing a baseball cap possibly with a handicapped sticker on the dashboard.
