Two Houston electricians are being charged for the work they did that led to one man’s death in late August. According to AP News, Jason Joseph Gorczyca and James Ray Pyle did substandard repair work for the Houston Hilton Westchase that caused the hotel’s pool lights to come on and short. After swimmers reported being shocked, 27-year-old Raul Hernandez swam to the deep end of the pool in order to help a child and went into cardiac arrest. Bystanders helped him get out of the pool, and he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
