A dump truck was involved in a fatal crash during rush hour today in North Richland Hills, according to NBC DFW. While the cause of the accident is still under investigation, the dump truck was only vehicle involved. The truck rolled over, spilling out a load of dirt, and backing up northeast 820. As many schools in Texas gear up for spring break in the coming weeks, police departments are preparing to send out extra patrol for intoxicated drivers in order to keep law-abiding citizens safe. NBC DFW reported that last year, 1,000 spring break-related DWI arrests were made, and more 11,400 speeding citations were given. Be extra cautious during the next few weeks, as there will likely be more than the usual amount of drivers on the road, including travelers unfamiliar with the roads.
