Despite facing over a dozen civil suits made by passengers of a fatal charter bus crash last April, Loyd Rieve will not face criminal charges for the accident. A grand jury failed to indict Rieve, the driver of the bus that was carrying dozens of senior citizens to a casino in Oklahoma, according to the Dallas Morning News. Rieve swerved off the highway and hit a concrete barrier, killing two immediately and injuring over 40, one of whom later died from those injuries. Both Rieve and his employer, Cardinal Coach Lines of Grand Prairie, will face civil suits for the injuries the accident caused.
