At least four people were killed after a small plane crashed into a building at Mid-Continental Airport in Wichita, Kansas on Thursday morning, according to the Huffington Post. The twin-engine Beechcraft King Air plane, whose only passenger was the pilot, lost engine power not long after takeoff, and was attempting to return to the airport’s runway when the crash occurred. Firefighters were able to extinguish the resulting flames after a few minutes. At least four were killed, and five more injured, but four others are still unaccounted for. The extent of the pilot’s injuries is not known at this time.
