A settlement of over $2 million has been reached by the family of Ethan Couch and the family of the boy Couch paralyzed in a drunken-driving accident last year in Tarrant County, according to the Dallas Morning News. Sergio E. Molina was one of the twelve injured in the accident, which also killed four people. Molina and his family will receive $1 million in cash, and the rest of the settlement will be put in a trust. The Couch family has settled with five other victims of the accident, while one other family is seeking a jury trial. Couch was sentenced to 10 years of probation and will also be admitted into a rehab facility, a sentence that sparked national outrage.
