Two teens were injured while riding on a carnival ride called the “Sidewinder” in West Texas last weekend, according to FOX DFW. The two 13-year-olds were attending a church bazar in El Paso when the accident occurred. The ride, described as a swinging pendulum with one gondola on each side, was going when a door came open and the teens were pulled out. They were taken to University Medical Center in El Paso, but their injuries were not believed to be life threatening. The incident is now under investigation.
