An eighth-grader from Bedford, Texas was hit by car on a major road on Tuesday evening, and has since died from his injuries. 15-year-old Amari Darby was attempting to cross the street on W. Euless Blvd. when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. According to MyFOX DFW, witnesses reported that Darby entered the street and the driver stopped after hitting the teenage athlete. Darby was taken to a local hospital, where he died. Darby was going to meet his mother at a nearby fast food restaurant when the accident happened.
