Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano is being sued and investigated for the part that it may have played in the damage to patients caused by former neurosurgeon Christopher Duntsch, according to the Dallas Morning News. While working at Baylor Plano, Duntsch allegedly harmed multiple patients during surgery, and killed another, but when he left the hospital in 2012, he was cleared of any wrongdoing in a letter from the hospital. Duntsch has admitted to a two-week suspension from Baylor Plano, despite the letter. It has also been alleged that the letter led to his gaining of privileges at two other hospitals, where more patients were left injured.
