Three teenage girls were killed Friday evening after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in a Los Angeles suburb, according to the Huffington Post. Twin 13-year-old girls and a 13-year-old friend were trick-or-treating in Santa Ana at about 6:45 p.m. when the accident occurred. Two of the girls were declared dead at the scene; the third died as emergency responders attempted to transport her to a hospital. Police found a damaged black SUV near the site of the collision, and witnesses have claimed to see a young man and a companion running from the scene. The police have made multiple arrests in connection with the accident, but have not released additional details.
