The family of a deceased six-year-old boy is suing Children’s Medical Center at Dallas and a doctor that allegedly misdiagnosed the child. Roberto Llanas ran into a pole at his elementary school last May and was taken to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with constipation, according to MyFOX DFW. The lawsuit filed suggests that Llanas was actually suffering from a kidney laceration, causing him to bleed to death within hours, and the correct diagnosis would have saved his life. The lawsuit is seeking $1 million-plus in damages.
